Controls

No tone knobs — this is a chromatic tuner. Use the TUI to pin strings, nudge the A4 reference, and cycle tuning presets. Your guitar still passes through so you can tune silently or with sound.

How we modeled it

Stage	Choice
Input	Mono buffer from JACK
Detection	Autocorrelation or YIN-style period estimate (see code)
Display	Nearest note, cents error, optional string pin
Output	Pass-through audio (tuner does not color tone)

Simplifications

- Monophonic — polyphonic chords confuse the detector - No strobe tuning visualization
